Evening 6.30pm. till 9.00pm. Closed Sunday
After a funeral, it's customary for the family to invite the guests to a meal. Close friends and family gather after the service to eat and celebrate the life of the deceased. It is generally referred to as a funeral tea. At the Half Moon we regularly host such commemorative functions.

Succulent prime gammon with two free range fried eggs, a selection of vegetables with chips or fresh potatoes

Our special Half Moon Haddock
A 10 to 12 oz fillet of fresh Grimsby haddock coated in Martin our chefs special batter.
Deep fried then served with traditional chips and garden or mushy peas.
It's the best fried fish you have tasted.
Recommended wine: 1. False Bay Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc
Prime 8 oz steak cooked to you liking, served with grilled tomatoes, mushrooms and onion rings.
Accompanied by hand cut chips or the potatoes of the day and vegetables or salad
